Trying acupuncture for the first time can feel like a big step, especially if you are not sure what will happen. My job is to make the experience calm, professional, and reassuring from the moment you arrive.

We start with a consultation. I will ask about your main concern, how long it has been affecting you, what makes it better or worse, and any relevant medical background. This is also where you can ask questions about my training and standards. I am a Lic. Ac., a BAWMA member, and registered with the Acupuncture Regulatory Authority (ARA), so you can feel confident you are in safe hands.

Then we discuss a treatment plan. Acupuncture is always tailored, and I will explain the areas I propose treating, what you may feel, and what the goal is for that session. Most people describe the needles as a brief sensation rather than pain, and many find the treatment itself deeply relaxing.

Afterwards, we will talk through aftercare and what to notice over the next day or two. Some people feel immediate changes, others find improvements build over a short course of sessions. Either way, you will have a clear next step, not guesswork.

If you are Wirral based and considering acupuncture, your first appointment is simply a chance to be heard, to understand your options, and to begin.
